Posting an Item

1. Choose the category that most closely matches the item or items you want to post and click on the category title (Electrical or Plumbing).
2. You will see a message box near the top of the page with the words "Reply to this" just above its upper left corner.  This is a WYSIWYG edtor message window.  Note the formatting tags for Bold "B", Italic "I", Strike through and Underline.  You can also format your text as left justified, centered, or right justified.  You can insert a block quote or lists.  You can even switch to teh HTML window and insert html code to format your message.  Next, type the name of your item and a description in this box.  You can upload a photo of your item if you wish by clicking on the "image" tag (second from right next to the "link" tag.
3. Click the "Add Reply" box in the lower right corner to complete the process.

To Contact a Seller

1. If you find an item you want to buy or inquire about, click on the Reply tag under the item to post a question you think everyone might want to know.  When you click reply, your reply can be seen by all. 
2. If you want to ask a question in private, you can click on the sellers name.  You will be taken to their profile page when you can Send them a message in private.  You must be a member of the web site to add replies or send a message to the seller.

All sales transactions are between the buyer and seller and the CYC is in no way resposible for any part of the transaction.  Please do not post ads to sell boats or motors as this would conflict with the GTB Yacht Sales group. This classified ad section is intended to facilitate the buying, selling and trading of goods between CYC members only.
