Comment by Chris Riley on Monday Well the first weekend of Sunfish sailing has come and gone. We had several young sailors come and try their hands at the Sunfish. While I was at the beach all the kids we had were brand new to sailing and every single one finished their time on the water with huge smiles on their faces. I personally saw one kid take to it like he had been sailing since he was a baby. I hope he will be back soon to try again.
We did have a couple of minor issues with the boats but I am not too surprised by this. I will be at the beach Memorial Day evening to make some minor repairs and get the 3rd and 4th boat ready to rock and roll.
If you get a chance please stop by the beach on the weekend and say hello to our beach guys, Devon and Forrest .
And a big THANK YOU to CYC Commodore Emory Pence for all of his assistance over the past few months and the past few days. And another big THANK YOU to GTB's Bill 4 and his crew for all of their help as well.

Comment by Chris Riley on February 1, 2012 at 11:34pm Work is progressing --albeit slowly-- on the Sunfish. We have two totally functional hulls and two more that are in progress.
Looking forward to weather warm enough to give them a test sail. Keep your fingers crossed. :)
Comment by Chris Riley on November 20, 2011 at 11:38pm Hello All!
Just an FYI that over the course of the winter I --along with Emory and perhaps a couple of others-- will be doing some serious work to rehab the Sunfish fleet and get the boats back on their feet.
Any and all input is welcome. Especially from people who have used them in the past or have suggestions for the future.
