Kate, As I have been looking through the member's list. I think back to the dry stack day's as great memories. And I can't help to think of the fire arm's dealer from Tn. I quess that will stick in my mind forever. And so will Red and Lela. Last Saturday nite i was sitting at the bar on the corner. And The bartender made a drink for a member that was sitting where Red once sat. and he took a drink. And said. "hell, you trying to get me to pass out with this drink?" I had heard Red say that to Linda several times. And it just made me think of all of the GREAT boaters that was once a part of the character of the yacht club. It would be so nice to have a photo book of them all. just so that the new Boater and members could see how this marina and club got started. And a way to document the history of the past, present and future.
Anyway, we are looking forward to seeing ya'll again this summer. I feel as if this year is really the year that I'm a true boater. We are in a new covered slip. Pier 5 slip 6. Now I can sit on my boat. And watch it rain. Without getting wet. LOL
Kate, Welcome to our Pier. Look forward to seeing you on Sat April 9th of Pirates Market Day. I have you signed up for the event. Please bring a blanket or table to display your items for the day. Thanks for your support. Sandy and Kurt
